Unit Traits

Roll Anime to Fight trait system — passive slots, reroll costs, trait shards, and synergy with merges and mutations.

How traits work

Traits are passive bonuses attached to individual units in Roll Anime to Fight. Each unit has multiple trait slots filled randomly on acquisition or through rerolls spending trait shards. Traits affect damage, speed, crit, gold, luck, survivability, and special proc effects depending on pool.

Traits persist on merge bases when fodder merges in — verify after patches. Locked traits (if feature available) protect S-tier rolls during partial rerolls.

Trait shards economy

Shards come from waves, codes (BLEACHPART2! gives 10, ADMINABUSE! gives 15), and events. Scarcity makes trait planning essential — see get trait shards and reroll guides. Budget shards per unit based on projected lifespan in your roster.

Synergy with builds

Match traits to role: DPS gets damage and speed, tanks get health and reduction, farmers get gold and luck on alts. Cross-reference best traits tier list before spending. Traits multiply merge and mutation investments — a diamond Broly with bad traits loses to gold Broly with S-tier traits at equal merge.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many trait slots per unit?
Typically three slots on high-tier units, fewer on low rarity. Confirm in-game unit detail panel.

No. Traits bind to individual units. Reroll or replace the unit to change traits.
Best first trait on Broly?
Percent damage or attack speed — both accelerate wave clears significantly.
Do events add exclusive traits?
Some events introduce limited trait pools or bonus shard income. Check event pages when live.
